They have these guides that show you how to do it. They made a guide since so heaps have trouble next to the same exact problem.
its cheap if you fix it yourself, but it voids your warranty. and if you still enjoy your warranty... it should be free right? If you bought your 360 within times gone by 3 years, then it is still beneath the "red ring of death" warranty. Call Microsoft at 1-8OO-4MY-XBOX and they will walk you through the steps of sending your Xbox out to one of the repair centers where on earth they will fix it FOR FREE! Make sure when you send rotten your 360 that you remove any hard drive and cable from it, as you will most likely not receive your own Xbox 360 back, but a replacement refurbished one. The together process can take anywhere from 2 weeks to over a month.
