Playstation 3 or Xbox 360? I've been wanting to buy a subsequent gen console
I've been wanting to buy a subsequent gen console for the past few weeks but i preserve changing my mind and my parents are getting really frusted because i hold on to changing my mind when at hand about to retribution .
The 360 seems obedient especialy whith the low price of 199 pounds and it has great games but the downside on to be exact i don't want to spend to much cash on repairs and scratched disks , my best mate freshly got a 360 and hes be begging me to get hold of one as well but i'm not sure.
The ps3 is probably my most liking put of those 2 but i do like the 360 , i enjoy a psp which i think will be usefull beside the ps3 and i think the games are a bit of a rip of near the prices and everything but i suppose the console is expensive for a reason.
I absulotely love cricket which is a point to the 360 , i'd really apreciate tips and big info from 360 and ps3 owners for example should i have my 360 vertically or horizontally or is within anything important i should know give or take a few the ps3.

i dont have any but my friend have a 360 but sold it an got a ps3, he say the games are better, esp assassins creed and resistance. if you play online.

I have this same problem pal, but surrounded by the end i get a PS3 and honestly i dont regret it at all its an amazing piece of apparatus. I've been on it everyday since i get it. So if you ask me i'd get a PS3 mate exact you will not regret it.
I have a Xbox 360 and a Wii. So I'm wii60 owner and proud of it. The 360 is a better choice consequently the PS3 because it has better games after the PS3.Thats what its all in the order of the games a system offers not the graphics it boost in the region of. By the way the 360 have better graphics then the PS3. This grill is so often! :-)
PS3 will win the console period of war, no doubt. Xbox 360 and Wii are so meagre from technological point of vista, that in couple of years they won't be expert of dealing with serious graphics. GTA IV, for instance, isn't even announced for Wii - this toy won't be capable of cope with the game's requirements. Xbox 360 is getting GTA IV, however, the winter sport is going to be released on several DVDs - Xbox 360 owners will have to interrupt gaming process and switch discs (Rockstar complained more or less this issue). Only PS3 will have it on single BD-DVD.
Let's compare PS3 and XBOX 360:
1). A third of XBOX 360 (33%) are malfunctioning right from the start. PS3 return rate is single around 0.2%. Despite some people enunciate, that new 360 have no breakdown issues - just pop in Xbox section of CesFaq.com and see for yourself an amount of complaints.
2). PS3 have 7 kernels contained by Cell processor, Xbox 360 -only 3.

Xbox isn't that adaptable in dividing tasks between CPU and GPU as PS3. That's why PS3 exclusives look better than 360's exclusives.
9). Xbox 360 is widely certain for so-called "red ring of death" problem - it gets overheated smoothly. My PS3 was running for more than 15 hours non-stop beside no problems. 15). On PS3 you can install other OS, such as Linux Yellow Dog, Ubuntu and others. Sony officially let you do it. There is no such thing contained by 360.
16). PS3 HDD can be replaced easily next to any 2.5" SATA 5400 RPM HDD (used in laptops). 250 GB will cost you around 170$. In 360 you enjoy to buy exclusive HDD, where 20GB will cost you 100$.

21).New 40GB is 399$ or 399 euro (depends on the region) - it have no backwards compatibility with PS2 games, have 2 USBs instead of 4, no built-in card reader, but it's the same PS3, strong, reliable, smaller amount noisy, different cooling system. The price is friendly.
22). But, to be a moment ago, I'm not a PS3 fanboy, so (despite I own one) hear this - PS3 games (exclusives) are very easier said than done to develop due to complicated Cell's architecture. We have to hang about till developers will figure out how to develop games properly. Sometimes multiplatform games run not so apposite on PS3 due to the same developing issues - it's complicated for developers to get a grip on such advanced technology.
I didn't mention Wii, because it's so weak, no point to bargain about it. Leave it for kindergarten and indifferent games.

The ps3 plays blu-ray movies, the xbox360 plays... dvd's. You can get an HD-DVD part player if you can find any HDDVD movies to buy.
The ps3 is less credible to fail. You better still hold on to it cool and dust-free though. There are 7 3.2 ghz cpu's in here and they get hot. The graphics processor does too. I right to be heard keep it vertical, unless you can't find a place where on earth it's safe from self tipped over. This is because the fan blows nouns out the right side, so if you tip it up, it blows it up instead. Hot air with ease rises and that helps the hanger-on out big-time.
A lot of ps3 games can be got cheaper pre-owned, which is purely as good as investigational if you examine the disc for defects and the store will permit you return it if it's bad. I get Resistance Fall of Man for $30 US, I guess that's what, $15 to $20 pounds?
