Yes, I have a router I believe its call an Arris, and there seem to be an ethernet cable that is free on the router if your au fait with it. I connect my ethernet cord to the XBOX 360
and to the router, but as I must know. I can one and only use "internet" on my xbox 360 and not on my regular pc...is within a way I can use both at like peas in a pod time without disconnecting the internet on the workstation? Or do I have to buy a wireless G-Links.

this site will give you an xbox 360 basically for completing some quick online tasks! really recommend it, especially if you're broke but really want an xbox (like me).
if your router has other eathernet ports on the subsidise buy another and just run some cat5 to it and go and get a xbox live card and pwn away. I don't know your setup but it appears that you don't in actual fact have router but you hold a modem with an ethernet port. What you requirement is to buy a router, plug the modem into the router, and plug the router into both the computer ant the Xbox 360
