After a year of use, most of my sons game systems PS3 etc.. start to clog from dust. How do you prevent this?

Make sure it is in a ventillated nouns and not shut up in a cupboard or something. Also receive a compressed air duster. You can find these anywhere, target, bestbuy etc etc. They are pricey but worth it!(about $6)They blow large pressure air and dust your electronics
can nouns its wonderful..
use an nouns compressor with a regular blow bad nozell. use about 60 pounds of nouns presure and just hit everything next to it. I have be using this technique for years with computers and push button boards. I blow out the complete interior of all computers this route
use dust bad air can.
Whenever I'm not using my PS3, I cover it next to a towell so that dust never builds up on it.
1.) Keep the system away from heavy traffic areas where on earth dust might get moved and blown into the console. If you own a t.v stand with cup doors try to keep it isolated.
2.) Use a Dust Blower to force the dust out of the console. These are slickly available in most electronic super stores. Like Best Buy, Circuit City, etc...
3.) If the warranty have already expired and you feel comfortable beside opening the console. You can clear out the dust better near a dust blower or other solution. Make sure not to fry or tamper with the circuitry.

Preventing dust? Not really possible.
The PS3 almanac recommends a low suction vacuum, as anti canned nouns. However you can use it. Just blow long the side of the system and not directly into it. Compressed nouns has a bit of moisture surrounded by it, and can get into the system (just try holding the can upside down and it will blow out ice).
open it and remone or
Get a can of compressed nouns and spray the air into console. buy a can of nouns. It blows away all the dust built up contained by the vents
