I have lately brought myself an Xbox 360 (20gb version) and have notice it produces a lot of warmth. I have looked into this and found you can by an 'intercooler' which reduce the temp that the Xbox runs at. I was a moment ago wondering if anyone had brought one themselves and if they would suggest me buying one?

why would you need to include an intercooler to your xbox? surely microsoft must have though more or less these things heating up? one-sidedly i think you should by a PS3 you wont ever necessitate intercoolers for that!
No have need of to buy one,I have my tv and xbox close to the pane so my 360 gets allot of fresh nouns and its been fine.Just revise your set up ok i worked at gamestop and own my own console , computer repair shop. i would recommend u not buy any inter cooler. first it violds ur warranty beside microsoft. alsoit is not worth the cash. the intercoolers actuaully net the consoler more hot becuze they take activeness from the 360. what u can do is buy any fan(small one from dollar tree works great) and put it by the 360. the fan will pass the 360 frish air and wont f up ur warranty.trust me u dont know how frequent people come 2 my shop saying that microsoft rejected their console.
I've heard these things don't give support to at all. What you should do is give somebody a lift something like hairspray tops (or something resembling that) (also, you need 4 of them) and set them lower than a corner of your Xbox 360 while it's sitting horizontally. You'll have one for respectively corner. That way, you don't hold to worry too much roughly it overheating.
Intercoolers do more harm than upright. There have be numerous reports of intercoolers wrecking xboxes because they drain power from the device and the connector part overheats and sometimes melt the intercooler with the xbox. They also blankness the warranty so whatever wreckage you get from them, you will not be capable of have repaired.
yes as with my laptop and laptop and ps3 and my scooter and car everything including us humans necessitate to cool of ..i know that some people may voice that there is no want but honestly people anything extra to increase the lifeline is simply a bonus
