HELP-->Xbox 360/ playstaion 3--- which is better and where on earth can i go and get a cheap concord? I really want one of these because all the

I really want one of these because all the obedient games are out only on for them. So which one should i bring back thats better with perfect graphics and won't break down easily. And a apt cheap place to get them?
Answers:
The graphics for most games are about indistinguishable if the game is made on PS3 first and consequently ported over to 360. However, that should change contained by the future as more developers revise how to harness the PS3's power. If you need further proof, look at Resistance: Fall of Man screen and compare them to Killzone 2 or Resistance 2. There is a huge improvement, and that's only just going from a first generation winter sport to a second generation winter sport.

The PS3 breaks down at less than 2%. The 360's imaginative version have approximately a 33% failure rate, though it's somewhere around 16% according to an insurance provider (one who have to pay for extended warranty claims). Sure, the 360 have a "3 year warranty" but that's only for RRoD, so if your disc drive fail, it will be covered by the standard 1 year warranty.

Basically you'll have to wage MSRP if you buy a new one. Nobody really sell them for under, unless you're a associate of Costco/Sam's/BJ's Warehouse club. Used can be cheaper, but I don't know if you'd really want to get a used system. Just my inference, but I'd like to know how it be taken care of from unboxing to the morning it finally dies.

The 80GB Motorstorm bundle was discontinued, but on June 12th they're releasing a Metal Gear Solid 4 bundle beside an 80gb PS3 and a Dualshock 3 controller instead of a SixAxis if you don't mind waiting till then.

Basically the solitary reason culture suggest the 80gb over the 40gb is the PS2 playback. So if you don't mind no PS2 compatibility (but still PS1 compatibility), just pick up a 40gb component. The USB ports and lack of memory card reader can be "upgraded" using a USB accessory that costs about $10. The harddrive on adjectives PS3s can be upgraded without voiding the warranty.

EDIT: Side memo, the 360's online is said to be superior, but it's $50/year. The PS3's is steadily improving, and is free. So smaller amount features now (free) versus better features presently for $50/year.
ps3 is better! but just to make clear to you, they stopped making ps3 80gb. they only sort ps3 40gb, i know cause i get the 80gb, bfore they stopped making them.

something about the company losing money on the 80 gb... This examine is so often!

PS3 will win the console time of war, no doubt. Xbox 360 and Wii are so thinned from technological point of picture, that in couple of years they won't be talented of dealing with serious graphics. GTA IV, for instance, isn't even announced for Wii - this toy won't be capable of cope with the game's requirements. Xbox 360 is getting GTA IV, however, the hobby is going to be released on several DVDs - Xbox 360 owners will have to interrupt gaming process and switch discs (Rockstar complained in the order of this issue). Only PS3 will have it on single BD-DVD.

Let's compare PS3 and XBOX 360:

1). A third of XBOX 360 (33%) are malfunctioning right from the start. PS3 return rate is solely around 0.2%. Despite some people say aloud, that new 360 have no breakdown issues - just pop in Xbox section of CesFaq.com and see for yourself an amount of complaints.
2). PS3 have 7 kernels within Cell processor, Xbox 360 -only 3.
3). PS3 uses advanced tech called Blu-Ray, one disc can store up to 25 (single layer) and dual stratum 54 gb (in the future - up to 200 gb), Xbox 360 - regular dual division DVD-9 (8.5GB). It's possible to get HD-DVD (max. - 30GB) for 360, but it'll cost you around 50$. Besides, HD-DVD have lost the format war next to Blu-ray. Toshiba had stopped to make them, Microsoft too.
4). Calculations per sec - PS3 - 51-billion-dot-product-operati... per second
Xbox 360 - 33.6-billion-dot-product-opera... per second
5). PS3 has full medium support - USBs, built-in 4 slots card reader (except 20GB and 40GB versions), ability to use printer and so on.
Xbox 360 have USBs and only 2 memory slots.
6). PS3 supports up to 7 Bluetooth Controllers
Xbox 360 - up to 4 Controllers
7). PS3 - wi-fi included (except 20 gb version)
Xbox 360 - wi-fi will cost you around 100 $
8). From the first methodical sight - graphics are stronger surrounded by 360 (it has a stronger graphics chip - Xenos), BUT PS3 can use it's Cell CPU for graphics too, which give you better graphics in total. PS3 uses a weaker RSX chip, that be developed by Nvidia exclusively for PS3. RSX runs on 550 Mhz. It's difficult to compare their graphics, because 360 has a video chip beside totally different structure and operating memory is divided differently in both consoles. Xbox isn't that flexible in dividing tasks between CPU and GPU as PS3. That's why PS3 exclusives look better than 360's exclusives.
9). Xbox 360 is widely specified for so-called "red ring of death" problem - it gets overheated effortlessly. My PS3 was running for more than 15 hours non-stop near no problems. Sometimes Xbox 360 becomes so overheated, that thermopaste on CPU melt, drips on motherboard and successfully shortcircuits it. That's why in some countries populace call Xbox 360 "Coffin 360".
10). Besides adjectives of this, I've seen disassembled Xbox 360 - regular PC architecture - Billy Gates is an uninventive weed (as usual).
When I saw disassembled PS3 - it was a surprise - smart architecture, upright cooling (don't buy external PS3 coolers - they make everything worse - untested system is good), etc.
11). In 2008 PS3 will get more than 300 games, including Metal Gear Solid 4, The Agent and other great exclusives. Here is the angelic link to the adjectives PS3 releases. http://ps3.ign.com/index/release.html..
12). PS3 online is free, Xbox 360 - you have to earnings.
13). There were reports, that 360 scratch discs. No reports on that in PS3.
14). The funniest article, that right now within are no games for PS3, that show full potential of the console. Biggest games weigh only 25 GB (Xbox 360 will involve more than 3 discs even for those).
15). On PS3 you can install other OS, such as Linux Yellow Dog, Ubuntu and others. Sony officially let you do it. There is no such thing within 360.
16). PS3 HDD can be replaced easily near any 2.5" SATA 5400 RPM HDD (used in laptops). 250 GB will cost you around 170$. In 360 you hold to buy exclusive HDD, where 20GB will cost you 100$.
17).Sony expects PS3 to stay on the marketplace for, at least, 7-10 years. Also Sony reduce price now. There is a cheaper 40GB performance of PS3.
18).Sony constantly upgrades PS3 software (free updates for OS) - you get alien functions and improvements.
19). PS3 controller (sixaxis) has a motion control - you move controller - winter sport responds. Wii has it, Xbox 360 - doesn't. PS3 is getting rumble controller (Dualshock 3) on 15.04.2008, Japan already have it. On www.ebay.com I saw those controllers on sale 50$ and up (unofficial import).
20).On PS3 you can backing sick people by running Folding Home project. Wii and Xbox 360 didn't even chew over about it.
21).New 40GB is 399$ or 399 euro (depends on the region) - it have no backwards compatibility with PS2 games, have 2 USBs instead of 4, no built-in card reader, but it's the same PS3, strong, reliable, smaller quantity noisy, different cooling system. The price is friendly.
22). But, to be newly, I'm not a PS3 fanboy, so (despite I own one) hear this - PS3 games (exclusives) are very knotty to develop due to complicated Cell's architecture. We have to hang about till developers will figure out how to develop games properly. Sometimes multiplatform games run not so honourable on PS3 due to the same developing issues - it's firm for developers to get a grip on such advanced technology.

I didn't mention Wii, because it's so weak, no point to gossip about it. Leave it for kindergarten and dispassionate games.

We recently switched out our 360 for ps3. It's so much better. First, you don't hold to pay for internet. If you play online games, that comes within handy. Second, it has better graphics, on games, and movies, and the HD movies are pretty cool. We have the 360 for about a year. The finishing couple of months it was breaking a great deal. If you're just looking for a standard system, 360 is for you, but if you're a gamer, unambiguously the ps3.

well that really adjectives depends

360:

the 360 has dutiful games now and is smaller amount expensive

the 360 my friend owns has already broken after 2 months while he's have a ps2 that has be working flawlessly for 5 yrs.

it comes with an online headset but im not sure whether or not it comes next to an ethernet adaptor

it's internet costs $50 a year but it is also slightly better than the ps3.(the only common sense is because it has a multiplayer feature)

ps3:

the ps3 is more expensive near more features. the games will get better overtime.(the games im looking forward to are metal gear solid 4 and ps3 home)

the ps3 that i own have worked flawlessly for 4 months and is still working well. (i own gone through 1 laptop, 3 ps2's, and my rockband guitar just broke due to it individual dropped countless times)

So in short if you want a well brought-up system now progress 360
but if you want a good system following go ps3
It mostly matter to what you're interested in...PS3 have a pretty cool sixxaxis controler which allows you to move just approaching the wii... also the ps3 is more expensive.the 360 is known for breaking down abundantly more .33% more than the ps3. also the ps3 has the cool HD blu-ray, which is amazing. But if you are dying for a system then the 360 is suitable for you.
