What do you recomend the June 12th MGS4 or the simple 40 gb ps3? I have the needed money for any but was
I have the needed money for any but was interested surrounded by some friendly opinions. I know the 40gb have only 2 usb things but who care? They do the same entity as the 80gb 4 ones right? And who really needs the outer sd memory card reader right? adjectives you gotta do is hook up your psp to the usb port or your camera to the usb port. It works the same. Plus the 40 gb comes beside the sixaxis controller. Whats the big difference between the sixaxis and the dual shock 3? And i heard theres a patch comming out to so the 40 gb can draw from backwards capablity now is that true? And any other info that would assist me.

The only main difference between the 80gb and the 40gb is the PS2 backwards compatibility. The 80gb can play PS2 games and the 40gb can't. There will never be a patch, the 40gb will never play PS2 discs. You may be able to buy PS2 titles from the PS Store surrounded by the future, but playing the physical discs will never begin. If you don't care nearly PS2 games then obtain the 40gb (like you said there are workarounds for the other missing features), otherwise find the 80gb.
The difference between the sixaxis and the dualshock 3 is that the dual shock has rumble (like the dual shock 2's did). Sony and Immersion be in a lawsuit over the rumble patent. The lawsuit had not be settled before the PS3 release, so the launch PS3 controllers did not contain that point. The companies have since settled and rumble is rear legs. All future controllers will be Dual shock 3 as the sixaxis' are human being discontinued. The Dual Shock 3s are heavier due to the added rumble technology inside. Both controllers have motion sensing capability.

Some people may perfectionism about the use of 4 usbs a bit than 2, i have a 60gb text and currently all my usb slots are individual used (i have the PSEye, Guitar Hero wireless conector, 2 controller charging docks).
Correct you can connect your PSP to the console and use its sd reader to verbs your files to the PS3.
The Dualshock 3 is a sixaxis contoller with the rumble element (THATS RIGHT BOTH SIXAXIS AND RUMBLE) as seen surrounded by the previous editions of the dualshock controllers, they didn't bring it out straight away due to some legitimate problems.
The 40gb can play PS1 games, there won't be a patch that will allow it to play PS2 games as the hardware required to play these games is not within the console.
