As an owner of both systems...my judgment is unbiased. I've have both since launch day....and there's a few different things between them. First, reliability...my xbox have broken down at least 4 times...have to send it surrounded by to microsoft 2 times...PS3....NOT ONE ISSUE EVER. THe xbox is also VERY loud while running, especially if it's standing upright. As far as graphics shift....they're both usually the same. Sometimes a winter sport on both consoles will run a little smoother/better on the other and vice versa. Game screening...goes to the 360, beside far more games...but the ps3 selection is growing speedily. Online gameplay...I like the reality that the ps3 is absolutely free to play online. beside the 360, you have to remuneration $50/year for the xbox live membership. Some folks will argue that you will get faster servers and padding free play with the 360...which I conjecture is BS, because i've gotten lag on xbox live far more than I've ever gotten on the ps3. Cost decisive wise, yeah the ps3 is somewhat more...but at least you acquire a built in blu-ray player (WHICH I ABSOLUTELY LOVE!) For most reason....I like my ps3 better. I have a sneaking suspicion that it's overall a much better console; if you can call it that. You can store music,pictures,video, run it as a computer (linux), and is pretty much the best (and most affordable) Blu-Ray Player on the market. Hope this help.

Xbox 360- Got better exclusives, better online play, and a whole lot of accoutrements and downloadables. Breaks shortly (1-2 years) if over-played.
Ps3- Better graphics, comes with Blu-ray, right exclusives, might be too expensive. Great games comming out in the adjectives.
In my opinion, the 360 is the means of access to go.
you won't have to hold a playstation 3 back when it get the red ring of death-and online is free!!
AND it has soaring def DVD (to 1080p) built-in.
and as for the price-you want quality you enjoy to be prepared to pay for it-and it's right near in that black box.
and when you regard as about adjectives the extras needed to make the 360 carry out in indistinguishable way as the ps3 (hd dvd and online gaming-these are compensated for seperately) then you will find the ps3 is within fact the cheaper substitute.

9 ) 360 99$ wi-fi adapter, ps3 its included within the ps3
10) 360 really expensive 100$ 20gb hard-drive, ps3 up to 4000gb external harddrive or you can buy a 280gb internal, and comes with 40, 60, 80gb harddrive

ps3 have been within my room for 13 months and not a thing go wrong as ive played games for more than 15 hours. Sometimes i would play a game adjectives day and later leave it downloading something for the hours of darkness and come back to it next and play a game again! Its be on for days at a time!
