PS3 Question? I am thinking about buying a ps3 40 see

I am thinking about buying a ps3 40 see but I have a few question. I can still play it online? Would it work with a cable modem or do I enjoy to buy something else, basically what I requirement for it? I heard that the 40 see does not have a memory card so does that stingy when I play a game it will fail to remember where I ultimate played in the hobby? I am not worried about playing the ps2 games within the 40 gig because I enjoy a ps2 to play those games with. I newly want to know if the 40 gig will be a suitable investment.

Yes it is defently worth the buy.
its the best thing i hold ever buyed in my energy
and the internet thing it will probely work but it would be best if you attain a wireless router they are around lb50 ! !
no cause what do you realy want the ps3 4 to play games or monitor blueray theres nothing that great in the region of blueray i had a ps3 for in the order of 2 weeks and the only point it was apposite for well i dont no didnt find a accurate use but i took it back and get a 360 cheeper just dance with what you want but i presume you will regret it. 1. All ps3 versions can play online beside a wireless (need wireless router) or wired ethernet cable so yer cable modem should be fine. If you go online you should procure all the most recent updates, news etc

2. Its call a 40GB ps3 cuz you have 40gb of space to retrieve yer games plus other media.

3. Sorry mate, but 40GB model have no backwards compatibility with ps2 games what so ever, sony did this to use up the cost. So keep yer PS2. (it does play PS1 games)

4. If you can do lacking the backwards compatibility, flash card readers, 2 smaller amount usb ports and a plastiky look on the disc tray. The 40GB PS3 should be ideal for you at lb299/$399, however my guidance is wait, microsoft made at hand console better some time after the launch. I don't see why sony can't.

I'd wait but thats newly me!
As far as I know the just major slice that changes inside the two PS3s are the backwards compatibility. I had to put up for sale PS3s and I cant remember them never saying that the PS3 40Gb couldnt jump online.
I think, though, the HDMI cable is not included beside the PS3 40Gb, but online play is free, Wifi is inbuilt (meaning you dont need a cable, but cable reduce the risk of hurtful software). And the memory card thing isn't needed, your strong drive is inbuilt, meaning you own 40 Gigabytes of memory space. Taking your memory to another place though would mean you taking the PS3 next to you (buy a forklift truck, then). Although I have hear you can remove the hard drive externally (dont quote me on that though) resembling the Xbox360.
It does everything the 60Gb does but without the PS2 remedy. Which is why I wont get the 40, we dont own enough room.

Hope this help!
Have fun playing if you buy one!

1. ALL PS3 DONT USE MEMORY CARDS! They use a hard drive. The 40 GB Playstation 3 is alike as all other revision except it has a 40 GB concrete drive....
about the internet ther an ethernet cable that comes near the ps3 to connrcet it to the router for internet access u dont have to buy anything and if u hold a wirless router i think the 4o see can connect wirless not so sure about that
