a short time ago buy it from nintendo.or they might have it at gamestop you simply have to be tolerant...
many folks say to phone call stores everyday several times a day but explicitly really a pain...
i get mine from toys r us by watching wiitracker.com . they have adjectives reputable retailers on there. save an eye on it and you will eventually find a pattern of when they are contained by stock and be able to catch one.

You nickname the store and ask. It's that simple. If they say they enjoy a Wii, make a beeline to the store. If they update you when they expect to get it shipped contained by, show up several hours before the store open and wait within line.
Pick up the Sunday commercial and see if there are any ad for the Wii. If there is, linger in stripe several hours before the store open.
Look at forums and see if anyone leaks out any info going on for how to get a Wii. In December, someone leak out that it was possible to gain a raincheck for a Wii in January.

Hmm. I'm not correct. I got mine through a friend (they be so panicked roughly not getting one for their son for Christmas, they ordered three from three seperate stores and got adjectives three - i brought one of them from her :P)
I suggest, if you don;t want to buy from Amazon, you just maintain a sharp look out at local game stores. Ask if in attendance is any way you could reserve one.
