I'm a 14 year old hardcore gamer. I hold a wii with games similar to zelda, mario galaxy, and MoH with preorders on smash and kart. I hold an xbox 360 with games similar to orange box, mass effect, bioshock, nimbus 3, and CoD4.
AFter I work next summer, beside that and last summer money I'll own about $2000. From your experience is it worth it to acquire a PS3? I now what games it have, I know its specs, etc, so thats not what I'm looking for. If I already have those other two sytems and since I already enjoy a blu-ray player, Is a PS3 worth it? How does Drakes, Resistance, MGS4 (I know its not out) or Heavenly sword compare to my titles? from your personal experience, If I have plenty of money, Is it worth a buy? (oh and I enjoy a 50" 1080p plasma) what games are good within your experience? 10 points easy here. furnish a legit answer.

It is definitely worth to buy, especially since Microsoft is loosing ground- Playstation outsold 360 surrounded by January, and all the souk experts believe that PS3 will be the dominant console around 2010, and second console (behind the Wii) by the end of this year-ish.

Yes, I Love the PS3. I Have a 360, and It Just Dosen't Live up to the Sony Playstation. In My Opinion. PS2 Backup is Good, and Free Online, Is a BIG Bonus for Xbox Live Gamers.
Also Blu-ray won Big time to HD DVD.

obviously it is worth it, especially because of its exclusives like motorstorm, resistance and new. Well, I've had my PS3 since it's launch and it's a hugely good console and it's worked without blemish since I first got it short any issues.
Uncharted, Resistance, and Heavenly Sword are all fundamentally good games. There have been some speculation in the region of an Uncharted 2, but it hasn't been announced nonetheless. Also, Resistance 2 is coming out later on this year around the time of Gears of War 2 most imagined because the release date for Resistance 2 is in Fall 2008.
There's more anticipated games for the PS3 that are coming this year such as Metal Gear Solid 4, Gran Turismo 5, Killzone 2, Wardevil, Final Fantasy XIII, Haze, and more.
There are other anticipated PS3 exclusives that are within the works that are scheduled to come out surrounded by the near adjectives such as: Jak and Daxter The Lost Frontier and Motorstorm 2, but little info has be released about them, however, unsullied info will most likely be made avaliable at E3.

Oh my GOD yes go and get a Ps3. I came down to Xbox 360 and PS3 and already have a Wii. (I had to buy one of these systems to play Oblivion) I looked DEEPLY into BOTH systems and found that the 80gb Ps3 priced at lone $500 or the 40gb Ps3 priced at only $400 is MUCH better than the Xbox 360.
On the PS3 you can buy, download, and SHARE games next to up to 5 of your friends wirelessly. Free games that means ;)
The 360 have a 16% fail rate -- STRAIGHT OUT OF THE BOX. Chances are VERY dignified that your 360 will get the red ring and break on you.

Yeah dude, game assortment isn't that great right now but it's get some unique capability that the Xbox and Wii do not have. Gotta love the built within Bluetooth/Wireless Capability that lets you hook it up to your computer and using the medium server, so you can use your files from your computer to ps3 wirelessly!
Overall, it's got the ps2 library funding it up, also the blu-ray just a plus though.

A devout game isn't in recent times about the graphics or power of the contrivance, and if you have adjectives three systems you will ALWAYS be able to play the best games.
That said as the developers are getting to grips beside the new technique necessary for parallel and vector programming the PS3 games are convalescing and better. The latest releases are already marginally better than the best the 360 offer and the developers of those games are saying they own barely touched the Cell nonetheless. Couple that to the huge storage advantage of blu-ray over DVD9 and the cavity between PS3 games and x-box games will widen.
I would tag on Ratchet and Clank to your list of PS3 games and when its available Grand Turismo, and as a FPS admirer take a look at the demos for Killzone 2 !!
yes its worth it, as long as you own a decent Tv to be in motion with it, to gain the best out of the resolution settings on the ps3, i recommend going with an LCD fairly then a plasma basis of the pixels it can support
