I just bought the hobby Portal from the Orange box as a stand alone game. After installing, downloading, and after installing some more, the game is finally geared up to be launched. I launch the winter sport, the screen go black and I get an error message clich¨¦ I need to upgrade to Direct X 8. I am currently running direct X 9. Can anyone report to me why this is happening? My graphics driver is up to date.
