i bought a ps3 from craigslist and it ws new contained by the box it is a 80gb and i paid 500$ and does the ps3 come near warrenty 1 year free but i dont even know what store he got it from but it be seald in the box cant i impart sony my pin number on the ps3 and get the one year manufactur free warenty\ please help out

I have be get a wifi nouns throughout and use the internet without a problem, but my ps3 will not update games and it keep on signing me out of playstation network. I attain good wifi throughout my house, so what could the problem be?

Okay I got my broadband nouns in my bedroom. Now is this what I enjoy to do to go online next to PS3- Take the connection to my living room where on earth my PS3 is and plug in the internet rank to a modem(can a dial up modem be used?) and then connect the PS3 to the modem via Ethernet cable. Is this what I hold to do for wired connection?
PS3 wireless setup problems!?
I'm trying to connect my PS3 to my wireless router and I have two problems. First, when I type surrounded by my WEP key and hit enter... my PS3 add three more digits or asterisks to my password. Is this a problem? Secondly, my PS3 can't obtain an IP address. I take a timed-out error and can't get online. Can anybody please relief me?

My roommate just moved the HDTV I have my PS3 and Wii conencted to to his room. I am now forced to connect my consoles to my standard tube TV contained by my room. I was using an HDMI cable next to the HDTV setup for my PS3 and it worked fine. My Wii worked fine with the regualr component cable as well. When I tried to play my PS3 on my regular tube TV (I connected it using the provided component cables), nought would come up on the correct AV channel. When I connected the Wii however, it come up and worked fine. The PS3 turns on (light turns green and seems to be running properly), but it will not show up on my TV very soon (no audio or video). Has anyone else run into anything like this? Any assist would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
