I unplugged my clothes dryer to clean. When I plugged it pay for in, nearby was a loud spark, pop and immediately it is not turning on. What happened and what should I do very soon? Is my dryer fried, or the outlet?
Any ideas are greatly appreciated

There should not enjoy been any spark or pop when you plugged the cord fund in. But since near was, check your electrical panel and see if at hand is a circuit breaker that has tripped. Hopefully, the one for the dryer is categorized but sometimes they aren't. If you find one that is tripped, try resetting it. If it resets see if the dryer works again.
do you have another outlet that you can try your dryer on? If so, you should try that. If the dryer doesnt turn on consequently its the dryer, if it works fine then its the outlet im ralph dizon, yes nearby is short circuit happened, we predictable that by a loud spark heard. If you begin it ,you can found burned wire due of short circuit, may be of long time used ,the line was over pulled,bended internaly that you could not know it, cause with short circuit and as a consequence burned.It is very natural to repair it.
