They are carried at all of the big home upturn stores such as Lowes and Home Depot. You can also get them surrounded by the tool department of Sears, Radio Shack, and many other places. Buy one online if your local shopping option are limited.
Do check online for some reviews first if you are intending to invest within a high-end meter.
