DVD won't play on anything except my laptop...? My cousins just sent me some DVDs but they
My cousins just sent me some DVDs but they won't work anywhere except on my laptop. I tried playing them on our DVD/VHS players, we own a Sony one and a Toshiba one...but it keeps wise saying "check system". I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be checking for. Any clues as to how to make this work? I asked my cousins and they said it seem to be working just fine when they watch it =S
Answers: my guess is that they are in an unsupported report format for your dvd players. they probably are in vcd and your dvd player doesnt play them, or your dvd players dont play dvd-+r's. but your computer will since it be made with a computer
