Why does my DVD player not play my adjectives DVD even though it say it should? I had a Philip DVP 642/37 DVD player for
I had a Philip DVP 642/37 DVD player for several years and it played everything I put contained by there (VCD, SVCD, DVD, DVD+RW, etc.). It died on me and I have to get a bright DVD player so I first got the Memorex MVD 2050 because the description said it played adjectives sorts of burnt DVDs. I go and get it home, hook it up and it says "No Disc" when I nouns my newly adjectives DVD. This DVD I just made plays fine on my computer's DVD drive and I even loaded into my feeble Philips DVP 642/37 (and it loaded and played but because of other issues I eventually had to turn it off). So I though it be just the player, I established to buy the Philips DVP 3960 because that says its plays DivX movies (which is what my old-fashioned Philips said as well), since the Magnavox didn't say that I figure that was the problem. Well after hooking the spanking new Philips up, my newly adjectives DVD doesn't load contained by that either (NO DISC it says). What am I doing wrong? I adjectives the DVD twice (once with WindowsDVD Maker and once beside Nero) its a DVD+RW. Help!

It could be loads of things, i had a similar problem next to my LG. My problem was near the region settings on my DVD burner. im in the UK so my dvd player would just Play discs burned under PAL while my software be set to american NTFS settings. make sure that the settings on your DVD player and software clash and are o the correct settings. This link may also backing I know - in a surefire world it should work but alas these are the many problems that we facade with so frequent formats. The problem may be the RW. I realize the new Philips should play it but try using a regular DVD+R or -R. Some players work better using one specific type. If you similar to using the RW's then try a differnt brand. Sometimes the generic brands don't play as economically either. Hope this help.
