Has anyone get the US maxiglide flat iron contained by the UK?How do i convert the 2 pin to our UK sockets?please aid!! it has the 2 pin plug so would similar

You need a transformer.
Most US electrical products run at 120v (at) 60Hz so you cannot.We run on 230v-240v (at) 50Hz in the UK.
Buy a unknown iron.
If the iron doesn't enunciate it is suitable for a 240v circuit (there may be a switch), then you have need of to get a 110v to 240v converter and possibly a 2 pin to 3 pin converter.
It would probably be cheaper to turn down to Currys and buy a new iron.

Do not cut sour the plug and wire an english plug - unless unsurprisingly you want a fire . Do your ironing in the bathroom using the shaver socket . You can't.
US uses 110V 60Hz.
We use 230V 50Hz.
The kit you entail to convert would cost way more than a different iron.
