18 year behind the times VHS tape? I was only just playing very older VCR home
I was only just playing very older VCR home movies and everything looked ok but now here is nothing but snow beside sound.
I enjoy two newer VCR/ DVD combos and this has happen to both of them and I don't know whats causing it.
Its not the cartridge because I put in one video that be ok and now it doesn't play any.
I've tried using a head cleaner but have no luck.
Did I ruin the heads some how?
Is it something to do next to a demagnetized head?
Answers: First piece to do is figure out whether it's the tape or the players is the problem.
Do you have a commercial VHS cassette? (I assume it's VHS, but same principle would apply to Beta.) Will it play in the players? If so, there's a problem beside the tapes, and you may be out of luck.
If the commercial cartridge doesn't work, you may have to try cleaning the head several times.
