Can I play Blue-Ray disks on my DVD, or will it require me to buy untried equipment? Blockbuster's recent announcement on buying Blue-Ray titles for their

Blockbuster's recent announcement on buying Blue-Ray titles for their stores left me wondering: within order to rent and monitor movies from them, will I be forced to buy Blue-Ray equipment?
Answers:
No Blu Ray disc's cannot be played surrounded by a DVD player.
The DVD player is not capable of reading Blu Ray disc's.
The Blu Ray DVD player will play both Blu beam & DVD's.
Plus movies titles will be available in both Blu Ray & DVD.
No , Blue ray disc is entirely diffrent from DVD ,yes you hold to buy a new equipment to see blue ray disc. You need to own a blu-ray player to play blu-ray disks. A normal DVD player will not play Blu-Ray discs. At the moment to play blu-rays you can any use a Sony Playstation 3, or there are some Blu-Ray players on the bazaar, or there are some computers that enjoy Blu-Ray drives - you can connect some of the notebooks which hold blu-ray drives (such as some of the Sony Vaio's) to your TV using an HDMI cable.

It is not really worthwhile getting a blu-ray player unless you have a large definition TV, otherwise you won't really be able to see the difference. Full HD 1080p TV would be great to get the full benefit, but you will also see some benefit within a 720p or 1080i HD TV (these are high definition, but not "full soaring definition").
