i just bought some speakers for my laptop i have a wooden floor should i put it below my desk or on top for best bass

well plentiful people hold opinions more or less this but my personal preference is adjectives rich bass that's clear so i put my subs under my desk, surrounded by the desk to receive an resonate On the floor would giving the bass more Thump But on your computer stand or table at chest even for music might sound better
Sometimes when watching a movie within the daytime I put the sub on the floor playing loudly
At night playing music I put the sub on my stand
Play a round beside it
It really doesn't trademark that much difference, but I'd vote for putting it on the floor, which will act as an superfluous resonator for the bass. The desk will do the same piece, but the floor is bigger. In the end, though, you won't know how to tell much difference.
I'm a bit skeptical of the opinion of getting echoes from lower than the desk. You really don't want to set up echoes within any listening space; that's why concert hall use those big baffles and why music sounds better within a room with drapes and furniture than contained by one that's got four undressed walls and a ceiling.
Bass frequencies can't be located very ably by the human ear; the sound seem to be coming from everywhere. So you can put the subwoofer anywhere convenient and point the speaker into an unobstructed area and seize good results.
my older sister have like 4 subs and some be on the ground but she had a smaller one on likea concrete shelf but they are loud so own em bolted down or they may vibrate and go down off what u put them on my sisters weere close to 1 foot wide 1 foot elevated and lik e 4 feetlong, i was within the room above hers and she blasted her surround sound and while sittin within a chair i consistency like im on a massauge bench in the shopping arcade. so be careful
