I accidently dropped it while taking a bath and in a minute it's acting weird. I tryed charging ythe mobile, taking it out, etc and it makes a hullabaloo and just a blank clear blind shows or like multi colors. Is it really that fragile that it would break of late from bing exposed to water?! what should i do?
Answers:
Yes. Like any electronics, phones cannot be exposed to liquid because it short-circuits them. It's not likely that your phone is physically broken, freshly electrically broken.
If the phone was on when it fell into the hose down, it most likely short-circuited at once. If it was sour, and you turned it on immediately, it also most feasible short-circuited at that point. Sometimes, residual moisture maintains a short-circuit major to phone malfunction while drizzly. If this is the case here are two possible solutions.
At this juncture, I would suggest trying one of two things.
1) Place the phone in a zip-loc shoulder bag with 2-3 dessicant pack and place the phone in direct sunlight to heat it up. The heat will evaporate the wet slowly and the dessicant packs (like rice, but better) will soak up the moisture almost straight.
2) If you're somewhere freezing, setting your oven to 90 degrees (within the operating length of most phones) and placing the phone in the pod with the dessicant pack will serve the same purpose. Just be sure to move out the over door open slightly after it preheats to ensure no overheating.
These two strategies collectively work if the phone has not be turned on or used prior to drying. If after this, your phone still does not work, the electronics are the culprit and, unfortunately, you will call for a new phone.
some posted a question similar to this
if you have white rice red put it in a ziplock baggie
the rice will involve the moisture do not use a hair dryer
will warp the inside someone put their phone
contained by their oven big mistake leave your phone surrounded by the uncooked white rice for 24 hrs.. You already did a big mistake trying to turn it on while it be still wet. Just label an effort in a minute to restore it..remove the battery and SIM card..hold on to it in the unseal area, contained by the sunlight, in the upper air or anywhere where wetness finishes. if you are sure, it is completely dried.try to charge the mobile while it is still OFF.. if it is charging, afterwards you can turn it ON....
Good Luck
