I bought an equipment from the US and it has following specifications: Wattage: 300 W / Input Source: 120 VAC RMS, 50/60 HZ, Single Phase (whatever adjectives that means). Now, of course, surrounded by order to operate the equipment surrounded by th UK, I need a transformer. I've already tried two: one 40 and one 45 Watt Plug-In Voltage Converters (http://www.maplin.co.uk/module.aspx?ITAG... but they would lone make my equipment work for a couple of minutes, and afterwards either the equipment or - more feasible - the converters would give up.
