My 1 year feeble Panasonic microwave blew a fuse...? After I fixed the fuse it worked for half
After I fixed the fuse it worked for half a second afterwards died! The plug works so I know it's not that... any idea if at hand are fuses in microwaves?
Answers:
you mean you changed the house fuse? a microwave draws abundantly of current, generally they should be on their own unswerving circuit with no other appliances. otherwise if you run the micro and a coffee pot or toaster at matching time, the circuit fuse is going to blow every time.
Generally microwaves have stoneware fuses in the 12 amp reach. When you said you fixed the fuse, does that mean you replaced it beside an identical one? You can read the current rating on the tip of the fuse on one cease. You'll see something like 250vac 12A.
Added Note: What lare say below is very true. My neighbor have her Microwave running, was toasting bread and connected her Hair dryer to like circuit all at impossible to tell apart time. Poof, she disengaged her Circuit breaker at the CB box. It took over 1/2 hour for the CB to cool down in charge to reset it. Hi,
ring panasonic or a local store - preferably the one you purchased it from, but don't use it anymore, and unplug it.
better safe than sorry.
