It's a samsung and I paused a dvd and later I pressed power because I thought it was power for the tv so I forgot. The dvd player shut past its sell-by date. I turned it back on and the eyeshade was black. I pressed stop, play, skip, disc menu, zilch happened. I tried to undo it and nothing happen. The dvd player is on and lit up just nil will work! Help! Also, I don't want the dvd ruined because it's important and to bring this dvd you have to purchase a set next to four other dvd's! PLEASE HELP!
Answers: Look for a small pin hole on the front of the DVD near the drawer that holds the disc. Gently push the cessation of a straightened out paper clip into this hole. This is a powered release for the DVD drawer and will open it even near no power. This will at least seize the disc out of the machine. Then try the player again and see if it will deed normally.
