Would I be able to use this
http://www.circuit-projects.com/cimg/20w...
to connect my ipod to 20w speakers?
Thanks
Also, what are the components considered:

C1
10uf

C3
100pF

J1... i assume this is where i would put the jack for the ipod

+24V

-24V

The big triangle...

l1

J2... i meditate its a connection to speakers

facilitate would be much appreciated and I will pick a best answer
Answers:  To be honest, if you're unsure as to what C1 (Capacitor 1), J1 (Jack 1), and the big triangle are (the triangle's a power op amp), I wouldn't recommend you buy the kit, unless you know someone who's competent to do the soldering for you.

The diagram at the link you've provided is just the audio circuitry - you'll need a +/-24V power supply as powerfully, which will also require soldering together.

I suspect you might be better off trying to buy a small, ready-made amp. If you're merely going to be using the amp with small speakers a bit than something like proper tape player speakers, you might be able to acquire away with a lower output too, vote 5watts to 10watts.

I've heard massively good things something like the better-quality, small digital amplifiers out there at the moment, and they can be cheap too. I surmise a company called Tripath make one of these, but it's a while since I've checked - sorry. Have a look in the amplifier paragraph of the Consumer Electronics part of eBay and you might find something suitable.
