Duracell or Energizer will be equally as good, but I would strongly suggest spending the extra currency up front and get the rechargeable type. They work great and finishing for years. I use rechargeables for everything possible, including small wireless devices such as XBOX 360 controllers, remotes, headphones, etc.
Energiser!
NiMh rechargables
Duracell makes several different AAA 1.5V battery for PDA's, MP3's and other small electronic devices.
They last extremely long. I use them surrounded by my digital cameras and am quite self-righteous when compared to other brands.
duracell
use 'em for adjectives my electronics I hold a brand loyalty to Duracell, but truthfully, for alkaline AAA's, Energizer is just as upright. In fact, even Ray-O-Vac is excellent at the present time. Both Duracell and Energizer make longer enduring lithium AAA batteries, too, but those are profusely more expensive.
Both Duracell and Energizer make devout rechargeable batteries, but as you said, they're 1.2v, not 1.5v. That's a function of the NiMh composition. Doesn't issue who makes them, that's adjectives the voltage it's going to produce.
There is a Canadian company called Supercell that make rechargeable alkalines, but they don't seem to be enormously prevalent which makes me wonder just about their reliability.
Get some rechargable nimh.
Eveready alkaline...the best...
