But when he established the account, he give names, address, and phone numbers ostensibly as references, but within reality, it's so they can track him down when he pulls something resembling this. If they get the equipment vertebrae, that will probably be the end of it. But if called for, they can file a criminal charge of breaking and entering for each item that he's rented. The police next will be able to track him down through the DMV and other resources.
