Internet when theres not: Youtube. TV for idle entertainment, Internet for alive entertainment. The main common sense I use the internet is to find a starting point for research into something I want to know or learn. It is a net of 'knowledge', the user has to investigate to find the useful information. I soak up TV for the main purpose of letting my brain rest and to not enjoy to think (too much). There are tons interesting, knowledgible programs but I tend to get sucked into the pointless programs. That is if I hold time for either one. You will find me on the internet because I may one and only have a few free moments and not adequate time for an entire program.
