Does it consume electricity if I head off my phone adapter plugged within even if my phone isn't self charged?

Answers:
YES.. These are called 'Vampires'.. Every little charger, transformer plugged contained by at your home is using power!! Usually only around a few watts, but the charges incorporate up. Your computer may have one, your home cordless phone, your laptop, your printer, etc. Let's read out you have 2 plugged contained by all time and night, at 3 watts respectively. That is 6 watts per hour. That is 144 watts per day.!! OR, more or less 4300 watts per month.!! That will affect your electric bill a bit. Many homes have a dozen or more of these little 'transformers' plugged surrounded by. They draw power, even when the equipment it is charging or operating is turned off.!
Sure it does ! Even if you are not chargin your phone, the charger consumes electricity but not as much as when your phone is charging.
No, at least zilch to worry give or take a few.
No voltage drop because there is no mobile to be charged.
The only consumption is the lead and that across the resistivity of the wires with is so minuscule specifically not measurable unless you are in laboratory conditions.
ive hear of some people that unplugs everything within there house b4 they donate. everything consumes electricity while plugged into sockets

No, lone when your phone is actualy charging. So if your phone is fully charged & still connected to the outlet it will not consume electricity.
anytime a you have a cord within an outlet, u are using power like electric can openers plugged contained by but not in use.
most chargers do, but they do own "smart" chargers that automatically completely shut down the charger when charging is done, so its like at hand is no charger. Yes. There is a transformer inside and the primary of that transformer is connected to the line. It does draw current but not as much as when the phone is connected and thus places a nouns onto the secondary expire of the transformer via the diode bridge and current limiting circuits used to charge the phone.

But some of these answers are wrong. Not all devices use power when connected to the outlets. It depends on the device.

For instance a standard incandescent oil lamp when off uses no power. A can introduction uses no power because the switch is not closed. But a microwave near a clock and timer uses as much power as a clock when it is plugged in.

Some TV sets especially these contemporary HDTV sets use more power when they are off (in standby) than elder CRT sets. But any TV set that is waiting for you to press a remote (whether you lost the remote or not) uses some small amount of power while it is plugged contained by.

So if you want to go green you procure devices that are green. And you unplug things that need to be unplugged. But I would surmise the main defence besides the minor amount of electricity to unplug some of this stuff is just to product it last longer. Although individuals can argue that one as well next to some products. I say if it is not plugged contained by they it does not die when the lightning strikes. And I use surge protectors for all things that obligation them.
