SO I called the XBox customer sevice, did everything they told me and but I can't figure this out. I own a Xbox 360 and a xbox wireless adapter and a wire router. When I assessment my connections it gets stuck on ip adress, If anyone can help out me through this email or respond to this please?

I've been checking this out adjectives day because my grandsons want to connect, too!
Hope I'm right.
If the adapter is the one that plugs into the XBOX, consequently the router needs to be wireless and it connects to the modem.
If the adapter is one that connects to the computer (WiFi), afterwards the computer needs to hold wireless internal networking and the DSL connects to the notebook.
A wired router has 4 outlets and using a DSL cable, you connect the notebook to one and the game to another. It also have a connector for a wireless adapt.
If you hold a cable, plug the XBOX to the router.
You might still have to manually enter the IP, DNS, Sub concealing outfit and gateway numbers the first time and your Internet service can give them to you.
Does this generate sense at all?
