Cheap battery? I bought a pack of Duracell batteries, and they
I bought a pack of Duracell batteries, and they last in my digital recorder for similar to 4 weeks of class usage. I then bought a pack of Panasonic battery, and I realized that they didn't dictation the entire session of my first one hour class. WHAT'S UP WITH THAT?!? I'm alittle upset, but still.... Is there some measurment of power specifically within respectively battery? Like, gas tank in vehicle hold x gallons of gas(gallons is the measurment. These batteries hold x ______ of power. :-p

Batteries usage depends on the chemical net up of the battery plus the amount of internal resistance that is to say present within the freestyle. The lower the internal resistance, the longer the battery will end along with the chemical makeup produced by any exceptional manufacturer. A freestyle can be measured in milliamperes/hour or amperes/hour depending on the size of the battery-operated in typical rate of charge or discharge. You can get this information from the capitalist of the battery. The Duracell battery were alkaline and the Panasonic be probably carbon (regular) batteries. Alkaline battery last far longer within most devices.
You should go for rechargeable battery anyway. They pay for themselves surrounded by a couple of uses. The link below is to Wal-Mart for 4 battery and a charger for under $12. The battery should last 100's of charges...
