What company invented Bluetooth?

Answers:
cingular haha idk.
but ably i guess it at&t now but i i know adjectives cingular(att) phones have bluetooth pretty much
Bluetooth be created, licensed and developed by a company called Bluetooth Special Interest Group. The companies Ericsson, IBM, Intel, Toshiba, and Nokia formed a consortium and adopt the code name Bluetooth contained by 1998.

I hope this answered your question.
Ericsson be where the launch of Bluetooth was created, however the unproved concept was not for mobile phones, it be for office environments at the time, so that mobile workers could use printers and LAN services lacking the need for added infrastructure - Some want redundant as WLAN was only around the corner and faster.

Ericsson always maintain that the code for bluetooth would be open source, and next later as some one have said a consortium was set up.

Hope this help a little, I'm going final in time a bit - Early 1990's!
Hi

I dont know what company invented it but, Bluetooth technology be invented in Swedish Scania

Bluetooth be named after a behind schedule tenth century king, Harald Bluetooth, King of Denmark and Norway.

Sorry i couldn't help you more. Basic answer: the company now agreed as SonyEricsson

however, this is not strictly accurate, so please read the detailed answer below

Bluetooth itself is not a device, and as such cannot be aid to have be invented in the conventional sense. Rather, it is a set of protocols - a set of agreed settings on an electronic device, which see it to communicate with other devices.

In this mode, it is a bit like proverb 'who invented language' - no-one did. It just developed as ethnic group agreed on words to specify different meanings or objects - so long as everyone uses like peas in a pod words, people can communicate.

It is equal with bluetooth - so long as two devices are using indistinguishable settings, the devices can communicate.

Also, again drawing comparison to language, at hand are different bluetooth 'profiles', which could be compared to different languages surrounded by different countries. To be able to communicate, the two devices want to be using the same profile, or they won't know each other

However, within answer to your question, the company that developed the model was a nouns branch of LM Ericsson (now merged with Sony to become SonyEricsson).

They developed the conception in the hasty 90's, and contacted a number of companies within 1995 to see if they would be interested in using duplicate settings (to continue my closer metaphor, this would be a bit like one being at a multilingual meeting suggesting that for this jamboree, we should all speak english so we can adjectives understand respectively other).

These companies, which included Nokia, IBM and Intel as the major players, agreed, and set up a conglomerate agreed as the SIG, who formalized an licenced the agreed settings and profiles, and started to use them in the consumer marketplace by the late 90's
