Should I step HD-DVD? Now that the HD-DVD Player add-on for the Xbox
Now that the HD-DVD Player add-on for the Xbox 360 is dropping within price big time, I'm now wondering if it's contained by my best interest to pick one up.
Should I go for it or should I a moment ago wait for adjectives of the previous HD-DVD exclusives to come to Blu-ray?
Answers:
Are you trying to be stupid?
Only if its possible to burn, considering contained by the NEWS they are not using that format anymore.
Perhaps if Toshiba still will supply media for it and you are beefy into burning your own DVDs, then perchance. Its a crapshoot right now if the format will die completely or will hang around on as perhaps a facts storage/archival format.
Remember DIVX players? That could be HD-DVD's future.
NOT Even! Toshiba has announced they are dropping the format, so you'd be spending money on an dinosaur. In my belief It is only a situation of time before Micro$oft will come out near a Blu-Ray player for Xbox 360 -even though they haven't announced it they have said surrounded by the past that a BR player would be possible within the future.
Of course if you own money to burn and a burning desire to watch some specific HD-DVD movie later you might consider it the purchase...
Well, depends. Sure the format isn't human being used anymore, but I think you can still use it as an upconverter for adjectives of your current DVD's. That may be worth it if you watch lots of DVD's on a HD TV. DO NOT ever buy an HD-DVD. None of the major movie studios will produce HD-DVD's after a few years. Though i hate to plead guilty it, Blu-Ray has won the format time of war. Go get a Blu-Ray player, or if you really want the HD-DVD, buy one of the combination machines.
