You can do it contained by real time or purely save it to a folder and burn the cd later. You will call for a radio with an headset jack or some other way to bring back the audio out of it. Then just plug it into the mic input jack on your computer and diary it. Recording a radio show onto a CD requires two prime steps: (1) recording the broadcast into a digital format, and (2) transferring it to a compact disc.

There are several ways to record a radio broadcast. However, since you want a compact disc, you are much better off to directly spawn a digital recording by:
- purchasing an MP3 player next to an AM/FM tuner and a record point, or;
- Recording the broadcast directly as your computer plays it live, if the radio station has a live nurture from their website (check the website of your targeted radio station to find out - look for the words, "Listen Now" or "Listen Live."). Two great programs to record PC audio are "Internet Radio Recorder" (http://www.allformp3.com/sound_editor/am... ) and Audacity ( http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ ), which should work pretty well for video recording a live audio feed.

After using any of the two methods, you will have a digital format of your broadcast, which you can glibly transfer to an audio disc.

I hope this helps!
