Format War cross-examine? Now that HD-DVD is "dead", I was thinking on
Now that HD-DVD is "dead", I was thinking on buying a dvd player. My query are:---Does Blue-ray only play blue-ray formats or can it play regular dvd's?---Would it be foolish to buy a regular dvd player or not?
Answers:
They play regular. Unless you really have to own the highest ability right away, just draw from a regular player that upconverts to near HD and surrounded by a year or so blueray will be down to $100
blue stream should play both just look to se if it does, it will say aloud , and if you have a examine ask the sales character Honestly i seriously doubt that any Blu-ray player will be any lower than $350 by this time subsequent year especially considering the fact that the PS3 is currently the cheapest Blu-ray player starting at $400. It wouldn't necessarily be foolish to buy a regular DVD player but if you enjoy the money for it go ahead and buy a Blu-ray player, you won't be wasting your money at adjectives. Not only will the Blu-ray movies you purchase look amazing but the Blu-ray player will receive your regular DVDs look outstanding also. So yes Blu-ray players can play regular DVDs but it's not vice versa. I would personally recommend the PS3. It's the cheapest, and can continuously upgrade as time go on while regular Blu-ray players can't continuously upgrade overtime. They can maybe upgrade once or twice, but not as much as the PS3. I hope adjectives this helped.
