What happen if I connect my PC to my DVD player via USB? I have a Philips DVD player near a USB

I have a Philips DVD player near a USB connection at the flipside. If I conect my PC to my DVD player, will it allow me to view my desktop on my TV? I lately asked a question in relation to setting up my PC to TV wirelessly, as I didnt want the cables showing, however, my TV and DVD are already connected, and the wires bedded into the wall. So... using this set up, can I bring my desktop onto my TV using the dvd player, and if so... how?

Regards
Answers:

put the dvd to video 2 if you hook it up to the front and yes you will see whatever you do on your computer on your tv. I dont think that specifically possible but you can use an s video cord to hook up your computer to your tv and just use it as a ample monitor pretty much.
