$40 Bluetooth headset: Deal or rip-off? I'm in Canada. Recently within my province, we can

I'm in Canada. Recently within my province, we can no longer talk on cell phones while driving, unless you own a hands-free set.

Now everyone is getting these bluetooth ear pieces

A girl I work with offered me 1 for $40 (her bf works for cell phone company)

She said it's a well-mannered one that is compatible next to all cell phones

Is this a well brought-up price? I don't even know what these things go for. I'm sure she's not ripping me rotten, she's not that kind of girl and I know her strictly well.. but if her price is similar to what they charge within stores... what's the point

Please tell me what you focus! How much do these things cost??

If he works for a cell phone company afterwards the price is good...I salaried 70.00 for mine.
It depends on what species of Bluetooth headset you are being offered. $40 dollars does nouns a little steep, since I just this minute purchased a street style pair of stereo Nokia Bh-501 for freshly $35. But if your headset was a honourable brand like Sony, Nokia or Logitech that might support the high price.

Your best bet would be to google up the brand label and model name of the headset and find out from a bunch of eBay listings.

I would compare prices before committing myself to buy it from her.

I haven't had any problem beside it at all.
