I have have both services and I must say that Dish is a much better service overall. The aspect of Direct TV is not quite as correct as Dish's. I also really like the functionality of Dish's DVR its impressively convenient.

Dishnetwork sucks. Everytime you transcript something it has these big sattelite question and notices on your tape. Dish Network by far. I absolutely HATED DirecTV's menu system! Aahh!! It be terrible. I could never remember any of the guide numbers because they were so uninformed. Dish is a lot more organized. Also, the Dish DVR is really cool.
