I have a Toshiba Satellite notebook computer next to 4 USB, S-video, Express Card Slot, an RGB port, ethernet slot, and an IEEE 1394 slot. I would like to hook this workstation up to my HDTV so I can watch free netflix movies on my TV. What is the best approach to use the ports that I have to attach to my TV? With my entertainment center I hold a PS3, audio tuner, and a COmcast cable box from Motorolla. My TV has an S-video slot, HDMI, component and composet inputs. I am looking for the best passageway to get both nouns and audio from my pc to my TV. Any relieve is greatly appreciated in mortgage.

The RGB out (VGA) of PC is not compatable next to component input Red-Blue-Green component connections for any HDTV. Your going to have to put out some serious change to buy a format convertor or stick with the S-video 480i (ugly compared to HD). Unless here is optical or coaxial audio on both your output PC and input HDTV, your stuck with stereo jacks. Headphones 3.5mm jack out the notebook and Red-White input RCA connectors on the HDTV.
u should use the rgb port, it will work the best. if that doeasnt work, use s-video ( not so great) My teacher have a similar laptop. I'm the techie at school, and I hold used S-video and headphone out in times past. S-vid has essential HD quality, and by shifting the screen resolution on your computer, you can tweak it to procure the best picture. For the headphone out, you need a regular headphone manly cable (like for your computer speakers), with RCA mannish on the end(white and red audio cable). You can get this at 'The Source' or Bestbuy.
