I opened the rear of my watch to check the battery-operated and now I can't put the wager on of the watch spinal column on! Do you know how?

You just hold to press it down really hard to capture it to snap back into place. Stores beside Jewelry departments (Wal-Mart, K-Mart, etc.) have a special clamp that they use to do this beside, so if you happen to be going to one of these stores, they will do it for you and probably won't charge you anything. There's only two ways to do it, any compression as mentioned earlier or screw it in. Look guardedly at the mating surfaces for both pieces to see if the rear needs not solitary to be pressed firmly, but also turned slightly to lock in on. That's the track mine works. Good luck.
