Water is usually not pure and sometimes even somewhat dirty. When it evaporates, it leaves a conductive residue down which shorts circuitry and thus prevents proper operation. Circuitry is very intricate but sometimes can be restored by correct cleaning with proper solutions such as alcohol.
Cos of all the electrical stuff inside. lol Because it's not just H2O. It's full of free electrons from adjectives the minerals in it. Chlorine or brackish are good examples. It is an excellent conductor of electricity. That's why you don't whip a bath beside the radio in the tub. When you bring back electronic boards wet. the electrons use the easier pathway to ground, which is the water. And they adjectives try to go at once, which smokes the components. If you ever are within that situation, immediately power bad the device (unplug) and do not power it on again until it has be cleaned. DO NOT try to retrieve a device from water i.e. still plugged in the wall! You will be the hot shortcut to ground. Probably still won't work, but I've had nouns a few times doing that. Good luck
The hose crosses wires and circuits that will fry or short if crossed. Its a lot similar to taking a paper clip and bending it to fit contained by a home plug in socket (DON'T DO THIS) It cause the positive and negatives to congregate and making it overload. You can see what it does by taking a pair of pullover cables and hooking up one running out to your car mobile and tapping the other running out together. Water conducts electricity like metals.
my guess is that since dampen is a good conductor of electricity it outputs more electrons than what the electronic device can knob therefore creating a shortcircit and burning your electronic
