Answers:

You will have to use a device next to a hard drive, approaching a laptop or PC with a compact disc writer.
First you record to the tricky drive, then you form a CD.
The principle is simple, the bit rate of audio is way too low for modern disc writers, so you will always acquire under flows if you don't use a frozen drive as a source. Put simply, you will call for to connect your cassette player to your PC soundcard, then play the cassette whilst demo on your PC. A step-by-step guide is available at:

(follow the link to ¡®Cassette to CD¡®)
The record software is the key, here are some free software downloads available at:
http://www.cassette2cd.co.uk/downloads.p...
I have used ¡®Magix Audio Cleaning Lab¡¯ and ¡®Audacity¡¯ ¨C Audacity is remarkably popular since it is free!
If you record to WAV format, expect wallet sizes of around 10MB per minute, or 1MB per minute for MP3 (at 128kbps).
Once you have your digital version of the recording on your PC, simply burn them on to a disc (Nero burning software or similar..). If you use Magix Audio Cleaning, the software will burn an audio CD for you minus needing spare software (assuming you have a disc writing drive of course!)
You will call for the additional 'lame_enc.dll' profile to export into MP3 - this can also be downloaded from the free software page.
You can also download a free PDF version of the step-by¨Cstep guide from the download page mentioned above, the guide is complete near diagrams and screen-shots.
Hope this helps (if you approaching the online guide, don't forget to 'DIGG' it....)
Please note you cannot journal directly onto CD next to a PC, but hard-disk first, then convert to disc later. I would not recommend using a stand-alone CD-recorder as they struggle to story analogue signals that are more than about partially an hour long...
