What is your inference as to why Apple is competent to uphold an almost monopoly of the MP3 player souk? Everyone you know has an iPod, I own one
Everyone you know has an iPod, I own one as well. But I am wondering why no other companies' MP3 players caught on and how Apple is still competent to maintain such huge marketplace share. To be honest I have have my nano for less than a year in a minute and it is already starting to crap out. How can Apple survive when they make such a cheap product?

specifically because their MP3s dont hang up even have its memory full unlike other Mp3s and its kinda convenient coz it has a scroll circle or anything you call it. it's have a very poised design also.and when people see you enjoy an iPod, they will tell surrounded by their minds that " Look at this guy he has an iPod, conceivably his rich" and one nice thing give or take a few iPod is that it has so tons applications like stopwatch,calendar,clock and the approaching.you can also store pictures(except for shuffle)/videos(except for nano&shuffle of course).yah its really a good investment to hold one...

i've notice a lot of ppl are starting to posterior away from apple. for example, anythingbutipod.com or at least i suggest that's what its called. but i hold an ipod, too and i hate that the frickin vertebrae gets a current scratch on it every time i use it. also, i assume that the fact that apple be essentially the first major mp3 player help alot, and it has more accesories than other brands. ppl regularly associate ipods with success, also. as stated above.

Apple simply say an approachable market for these type unit and jumped on it, they can not compete next to Microsoft on computer software or computers so they took the age of digital music so no one introducing mp3 players anf the rest is history,bit i would to some extent have a Zune later an Ipod, for many reason cost, eas of use ect
Before Apple introduced the Ipod, there wer contained by very serious financail shape, Microsoft bailed them out 10 years ago next to a muti milloin dollar loan to keep them afloat,they hasd no choice if microsoft did not hold on to apple going they woud have face countells anti trust law suits for monopolizing the computer industry, thus they bailed Apple out to hold on to themselves out of tyrouble, since the iopd, iphone and apple started using intel processors in their computers, it make them Windows complaint and thusthey can competewith micrsoft. miscrosoft for software owns 98% of the world market
