Consumer Electronics FAQ

360 request for information?

my computor is upstairs and my tv is on the main floor and i want to play on live so i be wondering if i could get a cable splitter and put it downstairs and hook up my modem and tv to it so i can survey cable and play on live.

Answers:    Your idea would work ... assuming you want to hold your computer upstairs, you would need a second modem to put by your TV. This track, you don't have to unplug and move your modem upstairs whenever you required get online next to your computer.

However, many xbox 360 owners who play LIVE extend their home gridiron by purchasing a wireless network adapter (See here: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/x/xbo... ). A wireless router is required, but these are inexpensive and can be smoothly found in most retail electronics stores.
