What is this country going to do next to the television thrown out once the airwaves switch to digital? More..?
1) 118,094,097 households X 2.73 televisions/household = 322,396,884.4 televisions... 2) Toxic chemicals contained by these sets (cathode ray tubes, etc.) that will crawl our landfills... 3) How can the Federal Government make this declaration?! For OUR benefit based upon interest surrounded by our entertainment & PICTURE QUALITY? GIVE ME A BREAK! 4) Consumerism frenzy--We all must buy trial sets? Gee, who is benefiting?! (I know, I know...not everyone has to buy investigational sets...Cable boxes, etc...But appparently we must now buy modern "boxes".) But average price of a new set: MINIMUM $250 X 322,396,884.4 tube sets replaced in America = $80,599,221,109! Who's making this profit? That we adjectives must contribute to?! YIKES! 5) Is this really Okay?! 6) WHO is behind this?! 7) Why isn't anyone asking these question?!
What is this mysterious box connected below my house?
I live in a manufactured home I purchased contained by Sept. 07. I took some skirting off the other year and found a yellow box roughly 7" by 4". wire coming out of one finale up into the house, other wire on the other closing goes any into electrical or phone pod, can't realy tell. It have a logo CTD (communication technology developement) and also "klic it II" and C811. Tried looking it up but didn't find anything. Could it have something to do near the ethernet box inside near my phone jack? Is BigBrother watching me? Any info would comfort me decide if I oughta rip the sucker out! ( I don't use the ethernet but when I tried disconnecting THAT my unharmed phone line go dead so I connected it support, just fyi)
What is your assessment as to why Apple is competent to keep up an almost monopoly of the MP3 player flea market?
Everyone you know has an iPod, I own one as well. But I am wondering why no other companies' MP3 players caught on and how Apple is still competent to maintain such huge marketplace share. To be honest I have have my nano for less than a year in a minute and it is already starting to crap out. How can Apple survive when they make such a cheap product?

Hi....so for the majority of my life I've be so sure I wanted to be a vet. I even worked ..and still work at 2 vet clinics. Recently the in one piece idea have sort of gone away..I lost interest and now I don't know what employment I should consider in the adjectives... I was thinking something electronically related. Im looking for something that I can dock an Ipod to, plug in SD cards and, play DvD's. Either are fine, but if in attendance is a device that does both please do tell. These other details are preferred but not required: 10" blind (bigger the better) Big speakers (the dvd players I usually get are crummy near sound unless they hold sizable speakers). Durable brand name Carrying crust included HDDVD or Blu-Ray (although this might be wishful thinking) I'm a movie fanatic and I own been watching movies at work through a dinky 6 or 7 incher, I call for an upgrade.
