Connecting xbox 360 to two 12 inch sub woofers? i would like to know the easiest instrument to
i would like to know the easiest instrument to connect my xbox 360 to two older subs that I've have laying around. I own most cables, i suppose, please dont use crazy terms, conceivably color or size, or what the cable would originally go to.
Answers:
Doesn't the Xbox 360 have a digital Audio Output?
if it does it will be any a RCA-type connector (looks just approaching the Yellow Composite Video connector or the Red or White Left/Right channel audio connectors, except is probably ORANGE surrounded by color, this is Digital Audio)
or it will be an Optical connector that will look like a short time house-shaped door with a red desk light coming from behind it.
If you own either of those connectors on the XBOX 360, you can distribute them in to like type connector on an A/V receiver, and run the A/V receiver's SUB speaker outputs to the SUB woofers. The A/V addressee will automatically filter out
all the audio explicitly above the range of the SUB speakers, so they will simply get the Sub-woofer frequencies they can reproduce.
try this - there's an optical digital audio connector on the connector for your XBOX360, this article explains how to hook it up. http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/system...

Good Luck!
i dont have an answer but if you catch a good answer after please email me because thats a really good theory I really dont own an idea of what you want to do but the single way its connecting the xbox 360 to an audio heir then connect the subwoofer to the heir not to the xbox 360 itself !
