About how several hours does a projectors bulb start to bring down the brightness? I'm looking at front projectors specificly the infocus LP6500
I'm looking at front projectors specificly the infocus LP6500 or the Proxima DP 6500. They say the bulbs should be replaced after 1000 hours and it could finishing as long as 2000 hours. I'm not sure if the bulb slowly losses it's lumenace.
Answers: Projector lamps tend to be superlative until they fail catastrophically. (burn out) It's best to save a spare around and change it when it fail. You will maximize your viewing time per lamp that road.
