Are tower speakers better? I have 2 JBL e80 tower speakers. I
I have 2 JBL e80 tower speakers. I purely got the definitive procinema 1000 series. Should i preserve the e80s or switch them out for the procinema 1000 monitors? Does the fact that the tower is so much bigger trademark it a better speaker?

Size has nil to do with characteristic. It is the way they are designed and the materials used, that determines nouns quality.
A speakers size doesnt kind much difference on how it sounds. try playing movies with the different speakers, and see what you approaching better.. some larger speakers have a more full nouns, while smaller ones have a highly developed over all tone, and really entail a subwoofer to accompany the insufficiency of bass.. its up to you how you like the nouns. experimenting is the only worthy way to share. If you were comparing smaller and larger of like brand of speakers you might find that the larger speaker sounds fuller because it is easier to get low proceedings in a larger storage area but better is an opinion. Besides Definitive is regard as a better brand of speaker than JBL these days. The Procinemas are supposed to be pretty well-mannered and they are a matched set so they probably get the nod within this case. Bigger speakers does not mean it is a better speaker, what it really have to do with is space.
