4 or 6 gang extension organize that screw to wall. not one where on earth it slides onto/over screw surrounded by the wall?

Not sure exactly what you're asking, but you can screw any multi-gang extension onto a wall. Just dismantle it so you can take at the inside of the back, afterwards carefully drill & screw through the hindmost making sure to use washers to spread the load, afterwards reassemble.
